Description:
A truly portable thermodynamic pump testing instrument. The sensors are attached to the pipework on either side of the pump in minutes and a standard test is completed within a few hours.
Agile is a truly portable thermodynamic pump testing instrument. It is supplied in two carry cases; one for the pump sensors and the other for the power analyser.
Agile sensors can be fitted to most pump types including pumps that have in the past, been difficult to test. The equipment can be used irrespective of pipe diameter size or limited straight length of pipe on either side of the pump.
Thermancy supply a range of sensor configurations to allow you to test the majority of pumps in circulation. If a specific sensor is required, Thermancy will aim to produce it for the test.
The equipment can be used to test turbomachinery including pumps, turbines and blowers.
Engineers can use the Agile Pump Testing Equipment to test the performance of various pumps. The equipment fits to the pump and motor within minutes, with standard pump tests being completed within hours.
Direct measurement of pump efficiency A pair of temperature probes and pressure transducers are inserted in to the pipework either side of the pump to measure directly, using the thermodynamic method, the efficiency of the pump.
Thermodynamic flow meter By measuring power consumed, the Agile can measure pump flow rate where most conventional flow meters fail. The flow rate can be measured irrespective of pipe diameter size or straight lengths of pipework either side of the pump.
Improved Flexibility The compact size of the kit makes it portable and easy to transport to site.
High Reliability The sensors are self-contained and once assembled during manufacture, do not need to be opened.
Wireless Network The wireless network has been tested in the most demanding environments, with greater than 99.9% connection reliability
Accuracy The Agile can measure pump efficiency to an accuracy of ±0.5% or better.
Agile pump monitoring components:
- A suction temperature probe
- A delivery temperature probe
- A suction pressure transducer
- A delivery pressure transducer
- A suction tee-piece to allow the temperature probe and pressure transducer to share the same pipework tapping
- A delivery tee-piece to allow the temperature probe and pressure transducer to share the same pipework tapping
- A tablet or laptop
- Tools
- Carry case
Agile power analyser:
- A three-phase power analyser
- Carry case
The intuitive user interface of the Agile pump test software guides you through the setup and testing process. The software runs seamlessly on a tablet or laptop, so you can use the device of your choice.
The main software functions are:
- Capture site settings
- Display and record live pump performance values
- Interface to a power analyser for real-time power measurements
- Provide continuous analytics to ensure the test is completed successfully
The main software usability features are:
- Tabular or graphical view of live data
- Connect with one or more probe sets
- Connect to wire or wireless power analyser
- On demand virtual keyboard
- Windows 10 & 11 compatible
The automatic report generator processes the test data and outputs a standard report while you are still onsite. Further analysis of the data can be carried out at a later stage to compile a more comprehensive report giving insight into the performance of the pump and station.
The report templates are fully customisable allowing you to modify the look of the final report. You can even create multiple report template types for the various pump types you test.
Data security and privacy remain at the forefront of our technology. We aim to keep all primary and secondary data values within our platform and to only expose data to other systems where it is essential. Our industrial wireless technology has been rigorously tested to meet international standards and certification is provided for its use in an industrial environment.
Thermancy calibration equipment is traceable to UKAS 17025:2017.
